This painting was inspired by my son’s journey to his heart transplant, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward when you can’t see what lies ahead. A tiny mouse travels down a river as night sets, led by his own light. For me, it’s a painting about hope, courage, and trusting the light you carry within.
